Internet Enabling Fat Client Applications with XML and Web Services
Interested in hooking up your Desktop applications to the Internet? Find out how
you can utilize HTTP, XML and WebServices to access and share Web content
between client and server applications without complely re-writing your Fat
Client front end. This session discusses various XML based data sharing
mechanisms from publishing and consuming cursor data, passing objects via XML
over the wire, how to utilize XML based data services and finally how to
integrate this technology into a business object architecture. We'll also
discuss using SOAP based WebServices and relate how this technology mixes with
XML and the distributed model.
