To all Visual FoxPro users! The German-speaking FoxPro User Group (dFPUG) cordially invites you to the 5th European Visual FoxPro Developers Conference in Frankfurt am Main. The practice-oriented lectures demonstrate how powerful applications can be realized even better with Visual FoxPro 6.0 and that the world of Visual FoxPro has once again advanced in every respect. Visual FoxPro 6.0 will be available in the autumn; dFPUG members will receive a beta version in advance in summer. The sessions You find a list of the most important session subjects on the title page. We can send you the complete conference programme with descriptions of the sessions and speakers from September onwards. Then of course you will find it also on our Web server (www.dfpug.de/devcon98). For those attending more than one day, there will again be late night sessions after the evening buffet. We generally want to recommend to participate in all three conference days; dFPUG members are of course nevertheless being offered other choices of booking. As in the last years, more than one third of the programme will consist of sessions in English. But the international speakers use a truly comprehensible English and are among the world's best lecturers on Visual FoxPro. Vendor sessions and an exhibition are also being offered. For newcomers, upgraders or those who are changing to VFP 6.0, we offer a pre-conference seminar the day before the conference. However, only conference participants can book this seminar additionally. It is going to begin on Tuesday Nov. 17th at about 1.00 p.m. so that all participants can arrive comfortably (and without another overnight stay). Registration Please register for the conference by fax or mail to ISYS GmbH, registration via phone or e-mail is regrettably not possible. The early bird price is only valid on receipt of the registration until Sept. 30th and payment until Oct. 15th. The registration deadline for the conference is Nov. 5th, 1998, the payment deadline Nov. 11th. The number of participants is limited. Registrations will be processed in the order of receipt.
As in the years before, the registration is separated from the session choice. For the latter one we will send you a special form together with the registration confirmation and further information by fax. In accordance with the received session choices, we will set up the actual conference schedule and produce the individual conferece plans which you receive at the conference check-in.
